My focus is to capture the real you.  Every unique, silly, quirky, beautiful aspect of you.  Let's have some fun!  I love using natural light to create relaxed portraits.  Most of my sessions take place outdoors.  I love shooting outdoors for many reasons.  The lighting is natural and it gives you the freedom to be yourself.  Especially children!  We are free to roam, jump, play, and be silly.  I love shooting a few hours before sunset.  The light is gorgeous and you don't get the shadows and squinty eyes that you get shooting in the middle of the day.

We will start with a location (I usually have some suggestions depending on the time of year and type of portraits we are taking).  Then we go from there.  The sky's the limit!  My goal is to walk away from our session knowing that I was able to capture the real you in a way that tells your story the way you want it to be told.

How do I book a session?

Once we’ve discussed a date, time, and location, you will receive a contract and an invoice for the session fee.  The session fee is paid online.  Once I have received your signed contract and session fee, your date is officially booked and you will get a confirmation email with helpful hints and information.  I am only an email or call away if you have any questions!

What's a typical session like?

A full portrait session lasts 1 hour.  Mini Sessions are 30 Minutes.  Portrait sessions take place mostly outdoors.  With children- the focus here is having FUN!  We will laugh, play, run around, hang out, and just be silly!  Sessions with kids are basically just big play dates. 

What to wear?

This is a great question!  Mixing and matching colors, textures, fabrics, and layers is key.  Accessorize.  Be yourself.  Check out my Pinterest link to see some outfit ideas.  For group portraits, the key is to put together a fun and cohesive look without looking exactly the same as everyone else in the portrait.  Add a sweater, some accessories, a scarf, a jacket, anything to break up the matchy-ness and help each individual stand out.  You are unique.  Now is the perfect time to show it.  Also, VERY important:  avoid lettering or large logos on clothing.  It's super distracting.  Let's keep the focus on you!

What to bring to a session?

It's pretty awesome to incorporate some of your likes, passions, and hobbies into your session!  Bring anything that speaks volumes about what kind of person you are...play a sport?  Play an instrument?  Have a cool collection?  Let's be true to who you are and include some of these things into your session!  Just be sure to mention any ideas you have during the scheduling process so that we can accommodate the idea when choosing a location and time.

When can I see my images and how do I get them?

I’m just as excited to share them with you as you are to see them!  In most cases, your images will be delivered to you within two weeks of the session date.  Images are delivered via on online portrait gallery. Follow the link in your email and you can download the high resolution images directly from the gallery. A print release is also given to you with recommended printing options.

Session Fees Due Upon Booking

$250 - One Hour Session

A one hour portrait session is $225 and incudes a minimum of 20 edited, digital images delivered via a digital online gallery with a print release.   

$125 - Mini Session

A mini session is $125 and lasts 30 minutes.  It includes a minimum of 10 edited, digital images delivered via an online gallery with a print release. 

$125 - Headshots and Business Portraits

Headshots and business portraits are $125 and last 30 minutes.  This session includes 10 edited, digital images in both large and small format files emailed to you with a print release. 

All sessions include digital files.  Prints are not included.  You have the option of purchasing prints and wall art separately.
